Welcome to the Governors' section!
Our Chair of Governors is Mr K Cross and Vice-Chair is Mr P Boyer. You will see lots of Governors around the school as they visit the school on a regular basis to challenge what we are doing and support the school. Each Governor has an area which they are interested in and they come into school to work with the staff and monitor these areas. If you have any suggestions for improvements, your ideas and comments will be welcomed.
Our Chair of Governors (CoG) is Kriss Cross. You can contact the governors by sending an email to the school office email address, where they will forward this information to the appropriate governor, or to the CoG directly by sending a letter to the school addressed to the Chair of Governors or an email to kcross@fairfd.leics.sch.uk

Governor Role: Community Governor
Type of Office: Community Governor
Appointed By: Appointed by Governing Body
Term of Office: Nov 2022-Nov 2026
Professional attributes, experiences, areas of expertise and what you bring to the role:
I’ve been the vicar of St Thomas’ Church on St Thomas’ Road since 2016 and have been involved with the school through assemblies, church visits, and RE from very early on in my time here as I see the link as an important one that I’m keen to foster. Prior to coming to Leicester, I was a priest in Herefordshire and served as a governor in a small country primary school. My role as a parish priest offers links to different parts of the community and the people within it. Along with this, education and working with children and young people is an important part of Church life and I hope that the skills gained from these things can be used to good effect.
