Catch-up premium
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up lost time after school closure. This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds. As a mainstream primary school, Fairfield will receive the equivalent of £80 per pupil in three tranches across the year - Autumn 2020, early 2021 and Summer term 2021. The document below outlines how Fairfield will intend to utilise this funding to support our pupils in their return to school and to aid their academic progress and attainment.
