Our Chair of Governors is Mr K Cross and Vice-Chair is Mr P Boyer. You will see lots of Governors around the school as they visit the school on a regular basis to challenge what we are doing and support the school. Each Governor has an area which they are interested in and they come into school to work with the staff and monitor these areas. If you have any suggestions for improvements, your ideas and comments will be welcomed.
Our Chair of Governors (CoG) is Kriss Cross. You can contact the governors by sending an email to the school office email address, where they will forward this information to the appropriate governor, or to the CoG directly by sending a letter to the school addressed to the Chair of Governors or an email to [email protected]
Copies of the minutes from governor's meetings are available from the school on request. For more information on governance at Trust level please visit the Trust website.

Here are our: Governor Pecuniary Interests 2024/2025
In order to achieve the goal of promoting high standards of educational achievement, the governing body has a strong focus on three core strategic functions. Briefly explained these are;
Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction. For example, by agreeing school policies and concurring content & priorities for improvement in the school development plan.
To hold the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of the staff. For example, asking questions, offering support, constructive advice, help improve proposals, monitor and evaluate school performance, performance management of the headteacher.
Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent. For example, checking that resources are allocated in line with the school's strategic priorities, benchmarking spend with similar schools, questioning value for money with budgetary spend.
Bring your unique perspective and expertise to help guide strategic decisions that support the success and well-being of our school community. Please contact the school office to find out more.
