Fairfield Preschool

For children aged 3–4

Term time only • Flexible hours • Funded hours available

Nurturing • Stimulating • Inclusive • Play-based

At Fairfield Preschool, our aim is to provide a fun, safe, and caring place where children can learn, grow, and develop through play. Our indoor and outdoor areas help children build confidence, creativity, and curiosity.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This helps children learn skills across seven areas of learning, giving them a strong start before they move on to Reception and beyond.

Learning is planned around each child. Our staff carefully watch how children learn and play so they can support their interests, development, and progress. We also help children build social skills and independence.

We believe learning starts at home. We work closely with families and encourage strong relationships between parents, carers, and staff. Parents are involved in their child’s learning at every stage.

Why Choose Fairfield Preschool?

Our preschool is based alongside Fairfield Community Primary School. This brings many benefits:

  • Smooth transition: Children become familiar with the school setting, staff, and routines early.
  • Continuity: Staff understand each child’s learning journey over time.
  • Linked learning: Preschool and school staff work together so learning flows smoothly.
  • Early support: Staff can spot learning or development needs early and provide help sooner.
