Fairfield Primary - feature article as one of the 'Top 100 most improved schools in England' 2016

At Fairfield, our primary aim is to provide the highest quality education to our pupils in a safe, exciting and supportive environment. Your support as parents is of key importance to us and Mr Sutcliffe, Mr Tuckwell and all of our staff will always ensure they are available to support and help in any way we can.

Our values are important to us; we aim to promote tolerance, understanding and a moral approach to life in 21st century Britain.

Below are two key documents to the school which underpin our aims.

Promoting British Values at Fairfield

We are a busy, friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

Our school ethos is 'Learning the Fairfield Way'.

The pupils in the school council have been working together to review and update our school ethos. Here is what they came up with.

Learning the Fairfield Way is...

·         Learning to learn how to bounce back when having difficulty.
·         Learning to be ready to learn in lots of different ways.
·         Learning how to think about what I am doing so I can get better.
·         Learning how to work on my own or with others.

They have summarised brilliantly what learning at Fairfield is all about and how they strive to be successful learners in all that they do.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to
contact the school directly with any queries you may have.

Thank you for visiting!
